Where our clients are
Most of our clients live or work in Clearwater, Largo, Dunedin, Safety Harbor and Belleair. We also help people in South Highpoint, Harbor Bluffs, Palm Harbor, Pinellas Park, Seminole and Oldsmar. Because the consultation happens at our office or over a phone or video call, distance rarely matters. What does matter is where you live, since carriers price plans and draw provider networks by service area.
Moving between these towns usually keeps you in the same county, so your plan options often stay the same. A move into or out of the county is different. It can open a special enrollment period, typically 60 days from the move, and the plans available to you may change. If you know a move is coming, call before it happens and we can line up the comparison in advance.
Local factors that affect your coverage decision
- 01
Key enrollment dates
Open enrollment on the Marketplace usually runs November 1 through January 15, and picking a plan by December 15 generally starts coverage on January 1. Any other time of year, you need a qualifying event like losing work coverage, marrying, having a baby or moving. We begin comparisons in early fall so the choice is not left to the final week.
- 02
Hurricanes and deadlines
From June through November, hurricane season lines up with the months when many people review their plans. One storm can hold up paperwork or crowd a decision against the deadline. Reviewing options during the summer gives you room if the fall gets disrupted.
- 03
Which doctors each plan uses
Two plans sold in one county can rely on very different networks. HMOs typically cover only in-network doctors and ask for a referral before you see a specialist. PPOs tend to cost more each month but pay part of out-of-network care. Before we show you a plan, we confirm whether your current doctors and hospitals are in it.
- 04
Uneven income
Premium tax credits on the Marketplace come from your expected income for the coverage year. When you work for yourself or your hours shift, a stronger year than planned can mean returning some of the credit when you file. We go over the estimate together so your monthly premium stays within a budget you can hold.

Plan your coverage before the deadline
Tell us your town, who needs coverage and which doctors you want to keep. We gather plans from several carriers and set them next to each other, with premiums, deductibles and networks lined up in the same columns. The consultation is free, and because the carrier you pick pays our commission, the review costs you nothing.
